During the Summernats time of year our Fyshwick store gets a bit busy, and for Dom it was time to get a new set of wheels for his Mrs’s FG XR8-X. Being a brand spanker and always loving the Cobra black and gold scheme, it wasn’t long until the Vertini Drift took Dom’s breath away.

After confirming the suitability of the Drift with his wife, there was only one more thing to confirm; what colour are we going to spray the brakes? RED!

With the car up in the air, the team had at it getting the brakes and hubs prepared and painted. Once complete the Vertini Drift was measured up and the final decision was a staggered set, measuring 20×8.5 +30 on the front, with 20×10 +38 on the rear. To keep the wheels from spinning and to provide some traction a set of Lexani Tyres were opted for 245/35 on the front and 275/25 on the rear!

But there’s a twist, Dom is oldschool and a 5^th spare wheel was taken off the shelf and made pretty sitting in the boot. The end product is mean and resembles the great black and gold Cobra theme. Thanks for choosing Ozzy Tyres!
